Moving off Scottish... Rosza - the English variation on Pride of Erin, because you actually get to hug on the dance floor, any Contra with a gypsy meltdown, and Swing Jam sessions
Fav. band/caller(s):	Contra - Wild Asparagus in the US, and I have a special preference for Jabadaw who played the first best English Ceilidh I ever went to. And I'm putting in a special mention for Swing teachers Scott Cupit and Claudia Funder, and Anthony Wheaton and Fi Daff of Swing Patrol, since standard of teaching and dance floor attitude is so good in their dance culture
Favourite festival(s):	Definitely IVFDF for its intimate community atmosphere. The Australian Jitterbug Championships - any dancer of any style would LOVE the buzz, the atmosphere the friendliness and the sheer brilliance of this dance floor which is still a comfortable place for all dancers of any level or style. SUSCDF -the Scottish Universities Scottish Country Dance Festival - for the Dems.
Instrument(s):	Piano main, fair guitar accomp and OK noise out of most folk instruments but sadly not the fiddle. I also write music and songs and perform them.
Likes:	Fast spins and playing with balance with a good dance partner. Dancing TO the music.
